"Full app localisation for an Italian mobility platform expanding into Germany, France, and Spain: all UI strings, onboarding flows, push notifications, and app store listings across three language pairs in one coordinated release."
MobiTrack Italia was bringing their ride-sharing and urban mobility app to three European markets in a single coordinated launch. The localisation covered approximately 12,000 UI strings, five complete onboarding sequences, a help centre with 140 articles, push notification templates, and app store listings in both the App Store and Google Play. The linguistic challenge was that the app used a casual, direct tone in Italian that needed to be matched authentically in German and French without sounding either too formal or too colloquial. We worked with the product team to define a voice guide for each target language before starting the translation work, and the launch received positive user feedback specifically noting that the German and French versions felt locally made.

Meridian Capital Group prepares its annual investor documentation in Italian and requires certified translations into English and German for their international investors. The package includes the board of directors report, consolidated financial statements, notes to the accounts, risk disclosure documentation, and a forward-looking market assessment section. Financial translation has specific requirements: the terminology must be consistent with the specific regulatory framework of the target market, the numerical values must be precisely reproduced, and the tone of forward-looking statements must match what is acceptable under the target jurisdiction's securities regulations. We have been working on this annual package for three consecutive years.
Prossima Engineering
"Technical documentation suite for a new industrial automation product line entering the German and UK markets: user manual, installation guide, maintenance procedures, CE declaration of conformity, and safety data sheets."
Prossima Engineering manufactures industrial automation equipment and was preparing to launch a new product line in Germany and the United Kingdom. CE marking requires specific technical documentation that must meet the linguistic and regulatory requirements of the destination market. The package we translated covered the main user manual at 68,000 words, the installation guide, the preventive maintenance procedures, the EC Declaration of Conformity, safety data sheets, and the product specification sheet. For the UK version, we had to account for post-Brexit changes to the machinery directive documentation requirements. We delivered all six document types across two language pairs with a coordinated glossary ensuring consistent terminology across the entire documentation suite.
